According
to Gourmet Magazine, this is one of the best-looking restaurants in the
city. This is a re-imagining
nineteenth-century Southeast-Asian trading house; bamboo, burlap, and
colorful braided ropes are the backdrop for a whimsical and original
design vision. Downstairs you
will dine under dozens of antique Chinese birdcages and pierced tin
“lizard” Lights. A wall
mounted with twelve elaborately crowned wood animal heads representing the
Asian zodiac will mesmerize your guests. The upper level exudes a British
colonial air, and decorated with botanical prints and such artistic
touches, as tall Asian umbrellas clustered together like an exotic
bouquet. Click
